To create a show-stopping international social media toolkit for Paramount’s Rocketman, to help reach its global box office target.
As a campaign with multiple stakeholder involvement, including Elton John’s own team, we had to ensure everyone’s expectations were exceeded.
We aimed to dazzle both core Elton John fans and casual fans/cinemagoers, with the iconic artist’s glittering story.
Through a series of beautifully crafted social assets, we shone a spotlight onto his life, career and character, reminding existing fans why they adore him and helping potential new fans realise why they should.
Assets such as Fantastical Facts, Crazy Quotes, countdown numbers ‘dressed’ in flamboyant costumes and animated lyric videos enticed audiences to discover more by watching the full film in cinemas.
Our complete social media toolkit navigated markets through the film’s campaign – pre, during and post cinema touchdown – with more than enough high-quality content to keep audiences across the globe truly captivated and entertained… for ‘a long, long time’.
