The Challenge

Create a social campaign to show off Sky’s new offering – Peacock, NBCUniversal’s impressive streaming app.

Creative Strategy

Peacock has collected some of the most popular shows and films of all time. The ones we love to watch and rewatch. They’re so good, they sell themselves. So, we cleverly used the show and film titles, their classic quotes, and best-known in-jokes to promote Peacock’s arrival on Sky.

To kick-off the campaign, our Launch AV flaunted a selection of the most memorable shots from across the Peacock range, accompanied by an upbeat, slightly sarcastic voiceover that delivered a script littered with not-so-subtle hidden titles.

A suite of bold and bright social assets used some of the best-known quotes to highlight the benefits of Sky’s partnership with Peacock, as well as celebrating everything that makes the shows firm fan favourites.

We also challenged people to make up their own ‘Peacock puns’ on Twitter, using show/film titles or quotes. To see what clever, funny, double-meaning replies we’d get. @parksandrec and @theofficetv joined the conversation…
